I study spatio-temporal changes in forest dynamics and their causes, focusing mainly on climate change. I generally work with large databases and advanced statistical and mechanistic models, using workflows that maximize the managing, cleaning, transforming, visualizing and modeling data.

I am committed to open and reproducible science, contributing to the development of open source software and promoting the teaching and learning of good statistical and programming practices in the field of life sciences.
