Guillermo Rodríguez Barreiro

I am an agricultural engineer from the University of Vigo (Spain) and the National Agrarian University of Nicaragua.

My passion is agroecology and self-sufficient production systems. This is why I am specialized in biointensive agriculture which I have been practicing for more than 10 years in soils from tropical climates and soils from temperate climates.

I am one of 3 certified intermediate-level teachers of the biointensive method in Europe. In recent years I have specialized to better understand soil dynamics and have recently completed and certified within the international Soil Test Analysis and Amendment Recommendation (STAAR) program.

In addition to all this, and most importantly, I am a farmer and I produce all my own food.
