Pierre Luisi

I am a biostatistician specialized in human population genetics, a field I have worked in since 2008. My research aims to understand the evolutionary history of human populations, with a particular focus on the role of natural selection and demographic processes in shaping human diversity.

As a researcher, I engage in interdisciplinary collaborations that integrate perspectives from anthropology, archaeology, ecology, immunology, pharmacology, and epidemiology. I explore, implement, and develop methodologies to process and analyze high-throughput genomic data from both modern individuals and archaeological remains.
