Gerard Muntané

I am a postdoctoral scientist on Psychiatric Genetics and assistant professor at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, employing computational approaches to investigate the genetics underlying mental disorders. My research mainly involves a comprehensive understanding of how genetic alterations in key evolutionary pathways contribute to brain diseases, brain evolution and senescence. I specialized in handling complex phenotypic and genetic data sets to address questions related to health and complex traits in humans and other primates.
