I am a Doctoral Candidate at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and hold a Master’s of Science in Ecology and Conservation from the University of Aberdeen. I previously studied Biology (mainly macro and evolutionary biology and zoology), as well as a Theater Arts and Museum Studies minors, at Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana.
I am interested in furthering my experience in population and evolutionary ecology, as well as endangered and invasive species management.
Currently, I am researching the impacts of geographic distance on speciation and extinction rates, as well as enhancing phylogenetic model speed using the coding language Julia.
