I am co-director of the IDEA and professor of the Department of Prehistory, Ancient History and Archeology of the Complutense University.
I have been guest professor and researcher at the Universities of Harvard, Rutgers and St. Louis and the Royal Complutense College in Harvard (USA). My specialities are taphonomy and paleoanthropology.
I am pioneer in the application of computing tools, such as algorithms of machine learning and deep learning or computer vision to the world of paleoanthropology. I am currently co-director of TOPPP.
