My research mainly focuses on mammalian paleobiology and paleoecology, usually applying phylogenetic methods, but also through the analysis of large fossil datasets. I am particularly interested in the multiple factors that shape diversification rates through time (e.g. phenotypic innovations, competition, diversity limits, etc). More recently, I am also using bayesian methods that combine morphological and genomic data to estimate evolutionary trees.
