My research focuses on understanding how life is organized in multiple aspects and temporal and spatial scales, mostly spanning how species distribute, coexist, and evolve. Currently, I’m involved in developing network-based tools that are expected to answer relevant questions at the intersection between ecology, biogeography, and evolution, by integrating different sources of information. Although most of my research lay in the arena of computational biology, I really enjoy being in contact with nature both as a hobby and as a source of inspiration.
