I am a physicist and ecologist by training and most of the time I do research as a modeler a the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research – UFZ -in Leipzig (http://www.ufz.de) and at the TU Dresden (Chair of Forest Biometry and Forest Systems Analysis, Tharandt). My main focus is forest modelling, especially Monodominance in tropical forests.
