Online Course – 16th Edition
3D Geometric Morphometrics
June 1st-7th, 2022
REGISTRATION IS CLOSED
Please, SUBSCRIBE to our Newsletter if you want to receive information on new editions.
Online live (synchronous) sessions from 16:00 to 21:00 (Madrid time zone).
Live sessions will be recorded. Recordings will be made available to participants for a limited period of time. However, attendance to the live sessions is required.
This course is entitled to teach the main concepts of shape analysis based on three- dimensional landmark coordinates. In this course, you will learn to manipulate 3D models and use them to collect landmark data, take measurements, and to quantify and visualize the main differences in shape.
Graduate or postgraduate degree in Biomedical, Life or Earth Sciences, basic knowledge of statistics. Basic knowledge of Geometric Morphometric is recommended.
A computer (Windows) preferably with a webcam, and a good internet connection.
June 1st-7th, 2022
35 hours
25 hours of online live lessons, plus 10 hours of participants working on their own.
Live sessions will be recorded. However, attendance to the live sessions is required.
This course is equivalent to 1 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) at the Life Science Zurich Graduate School. The recognition of ECTS by other institutions depends on each university or school.
English
Places are limited to 16 participants and will be occupied by strict registration order.
Participants who have completed the course will receive a certificate at the end.
